Folkzanger Richie Havens opende op vrijdagmiddag 15 augustus 1969 om vijf uur het Woodstock festival. De maandagochtend daarop sloot Jimi Hendrix deze turbulente en historische gebeurtenis af van rockmuziek en communale love & peace, maar ook van regen en gebrek aan voedsel en sanitair, beleefd door een onverwachte opkomst van een half miljoen mensen. Back To The Garden – 50th Anniversary Experience is een mooi gebonden, informatief en rijk geïllustreerd hardcover boek dat 10 cd's bevat met live-materiaal van het festival. Ruim 12 uur muziek van onder andere Santana, The Grateful Dead, The Who, Janis Joplin en natuurlijk Havens en Hendrix. Een box-set om mee weg te dromen naar 50 jaar terug toen het er even op leek dat vreedzame hippie-idealen de wereld zouden overnemen.
