Pietro Alessandro Yon (1886 -1943) was een in Italië geboren organist en componist die carrière maakte in de Verenigde Staten. Als componist is Yon het meest bekend om zijn Humoresque 'L'organo primitivo' en 'Gesù bambino', een Italiaans kerstlied gecomponeerd in 1917. De melodie werd gebruikt door Frederick H. Martens in zijn Engelstalige kerstlied 'When Blossoms Flowered' midden in de sneeuw'. De melodie en de tekst van het refrein zijn ontleend aan 'Adeste Fideles' (O Come All Ye Faithful).
