Frédérique Spigt Beest

De Rotterdamse tekstschrijfster, componiste en zangeres Frédérique Spigt begon haar carrière in 1985 met de rockgroep I’ve Got The Bullets. De groep was succesvol, maar in 1990 wilde Spigt iets nieuws en richtte de country- en r&b groep A Girl Called Johnny op. In 1996 volgde het theaterproject Frédérique Spigt Con La Piccola Orchestra. Vanaf 1998 besloot ze van de Engelse taal naar het Nederlands over te stappen. Na Engel (1999) en Droom (2000) is Beest (2002) de titel van haar derde theatervoorstelling...
