Erik Joost van Schooten Literary response and attitude toward reading fiction

The results of four studies are synthesized, concerning the attitude toward reading fiction and literary response of students in secondary education. Both cross sectional and longitudinal data sets are created. Results indicate among other things that both the attitude and the response instrument show adequate model fit. Of all attitude components, affect appears to be the best predictor of reading behaviour. Recensie in: Tsjip.15(2005)2(.11-13).
