Internationaal Instituut voor Sociale Geschiedenis Transforming gendered well-being in Europe
the impact of social movements
Three different aspects of the relationships between gender, social movements and well-being are illuminated. Also, the extent to which the opportunity to participate effectively in the political choices which govern one's live, the ways in which such participation can help to develop an expanded conception of well-being and the ways in which contemporary social movements operate across national boundaries are highlighted.
