Anne Marie Trovato One man, two women and three children
In this book the photographer describes the life of a first generation Turkish immigrant family in an Amsterdam neigborhood, through photography and text. The family consists of one man, two women and three children. The book describes what an urban immigrants life in the Netherlands is like, dealing with rules, language problems, cultural differences and stricter immigration laws. The images were made within a twelve-year period, but the photographer mainly followed the family since October 2003.
