Rob van de Laar Edit rules and the strategy of consistant table estimation
The method of repeated weighting aims at obtaining nemerical consistency among tables estimated from different surveys. This paper describes how to deal with linear categorical and numerical edit rules within the framework of repeated weighting estimation. Some basic examples are given of tables estimated in agreement with edit rules

Peter-Paul de Wolf | Ilan van Gelder An empirical evaluation of PRAM
PRAM (Post Randomization Method) is a disclosure control method for microdata. In 1997 it was introduced in Kooiman et al. (1997) and discussed more extensively in Gouweleeuw et al. (1998), but PRAM has not yet been applied extensively by statistical agencies. This is partly due to the fact that, even though some theoretical results exist, little practical knowledge is available on the effect of PRAM on disclosure control as well as on the loss of information it induces. In this paper, we will try...

Caren Tempelman | Ton Steerneman Imputation for economic data under linear restrictions
Paper proposes a new approach to impute data under linear restictions. If the data are normally distributed simulations from the standard normal distribution are used. If the data are not normally distributed the Dirichlet distribution is used

Frank Aelen Improving timeliness of industrial short-term statistics using time series analysis
The aim of this study was to improve the timeliness of the monthly statistics on sales development in the Durch manufacturing industry. The focus was on producing timely indicators in the presence of missing data. With respect to the currently used method timeliness can be improved from about 37 days to about 27 days after the end of the month, without sacrificing accuracy
