Deze dubbel-cd wordt uitgebracht ter gelegenheid van de 50ste verjaardag van Carlos Santana op 20 juli 1997 j.l. Santana was één van de eerste groepen die latin-muziek combineerden met rock. De cd bevat 38 bekende songs uit zijn hele carrière die in Nederland in 1970 begon met Jingo-lo-ba. Andere hits zijn in chronologische volgorde o.a. Black Magic Woman, Oye Como Va, Samba Pa Ti, Song Of The Wind, Well Allright, Hold On en Say It Again die allen op deze set zijn te vinden. De laatste jaren is Santana wat minder succesvol. (CK)
