De Amerikaanse singer/songwriter Billy Joel brak in 1973 wereldwijd door met Piano Man. Daarna volgden nog vele hits als Honesty, She's Always A Woman, Goodnight Saigon, We Didn't Start The Fire, Leningrad en Uptown Girl. Er bestonden al wel enkele 'greatest hits' compilaties van hem, maar deze vier(!)-dubbele cd is wel de ultieme verzamelaar. The Complete Hits Collection is overigens ook voor de trouwe fans interessant, want het vierde schijfje bestaat volledig uit niet eerder uitgebrachte live-opnames en interviewfragmen-ten. (MvP)
