De Engelse formatie Spandau Ballet behoorde samen met Duran Duran en Wham! tot de populairste popgroepen van de jaren tachtig. Ook in Nederland scoorden ze grote hits met nummers als True, Gold en Only When You Leave. Reformation is een driedubbele ‘anthology’ cd die veel interessant materiaal bevat. Zo staan op het eerste schijfje naast alle singles een aantal nooit eerder verschenen demo-versies en een nieuwe versie van (hun bekendste nummer) True. Het tweede schijfje bevat vervolgens een compleet live-concert uit 1983. Op disc drie tenslotte komen de extra lange 12" versies van alle singles voorbij. (MvP)
