Album

Andy Smith was o.a. dj tijdens de tournees van Portishead, maar kreeg vooral bekendheid door zijn mix-cd serie The Document. Op de delen die tot nu toe verschenen mixte hij talloze muziekstijlen aan elkaar (met een nadruk op hiphop, funk en soul), maar hij maakte ook een thematische cd met alleen Northern Soul. Trojan Document is opnieuw een thema-cd, waarvoor hij de archieven van reggaelabel Trojan Records indook om een cd samen te stellen met ska, rocksteady, roots, dub en dancehall vanaf de jaren zestig tot de jaren tachtig. In het boekje geeft Smith uitleg bij de nummers. (IV)
