Alsof hij het nog niet druk genoeg heeft brengt de zeer productieve Amerikaanse singer-songwriter Sufjan Stevens een boxje uit met daarin vijf kerst-cd's. In totaal bevat Songs For Christmas maar liefst 42 nummers die Stevens in de periode 2001-2006 heeft opgenomen. Natuurlijk ontbreken ook hier de traditionals niet (Silent Night, The Little Drummer Boy, Jingle Bells) naast een groot aantal zelfgeschreven nummers. (IV)
