Het is niet nieuw dat er van overleden artiesten nog albums verschijnen met duetten, en ook de in 1997 vermoorde rapper The Notorious B.I.G. ontkomt er niet aan. Een hele lading artiesten, o.a. Eminem, Twista, Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, The Game, Fat Joe, 2Pac, Nas en Missy Elliot, mag meedoen met flarden raps van 'Biggie' die nog ergens in de kast lagen als ze nog niet eerder waren gebruikt. Hoewel continue respect en eer wordt betuigd aan The Notorious B.I.G. ontstaat de indruk dat andere motieven toch de belangrijkste drijfveer voor deze cd zijn geweest. Helemaal als Biggie wordt gekoppeld aan een andere overleden grootheid, Bob Marley. Waarschijnlijk is de enige die hier echt blij van wordt Puff Daddy/P.Diddy/Diddy, die weer in talloze videoclips zijn gezicht kan laten zien en net kan doen alsof hij ook een echte rapper is. (IV)
