How Great Thou Art was Elvis’ gospel album. Het klinkt als een plotse en onlogische ‘carriere switch’ maar Elvis was in de kerk opgegroeid met gospel. Daarnaast nam hij in 1960 ook al eens een gospelplaat op, His Hand In Mine. Presley voelt zich volledig op zijn gemak met het materiaal. De zanger is van alle markten thuis en weet zowel het dramatische Where No One Stands Alone als de meeswinger By And By naar zijn Koninklijke hand te zetten. Deze speciale editie bevat outtakes en afwijkende versies.
