Warsaw Village Band Upmixing

De leden van Warsaw Village Band zien het als hun taak om het culturele erfgoed van het vaderland Polen te bewaken. Dat zoiets niet gepaard hoeft te gaan met navelstaarderij bewijst Upmixing. Hierop remixen onder meer Transglobal Underground en Zion Train nummers van het album Uprooting dat de groep in 2004 uitbracht. De invloeden uit dub, reggae, downtempo en Manu Chao -achtige mestizo maken dit album tot een relaxte trip oostwaarts. (PdK)
