Age included
on music, generation, diversity, and freedom
Gedrukt boek
MusicGenerations is a program which connects young people between 14 and 25 and people over 50 by making music. It started as a competition between older migrants during the festivities in 2001 in celebration of Rotterdam Cultural Capital of Europe, then developed into a musical encounter between generations. The program combines talent and interaction between generations and cultures. The articles in this issue provide insights into how elements of the program can make a positive contribution to social and political issues around age, intergenerational rationality , diversity and freedom.
