Het 11e album van The Divine Comedy is een van de sterkste van de Ierse band. Of eigenlijk: de beste verzameling liedjes van Neil Hannon . De multi-instrumentalist is namelijk het enige echte lid van de band. En voor Foreverland wilde hij pas ophouden met werken als hij helemaal tevreden was. Daarom duurde het zes jaar voordat Bang Goes The Knighthood (2010) een opvolger kreeg. Hannon heeft de tijd genomen en stelt niet teleur. Uiteraard kreeg hij hierbij wel de nodige hulp. Dat kan ook niet anders bij The Divine Comedy. De gelaagde popmuziek zou ook geprogrammeerd kunnen worden, maar dat past niet bij de retroliedjes. De orkestrale arrangementen worden met echte strijkers, hout- en koperblazers ingevuld. De gitaren en drums maken het brede geluid verder af. De sterk verhalende teksten van Hannon blijven echter prima te volgen. Dat kan alleen door het maatwerk dat hij levert.

Deze versie bevat een extra cd met daarop In May, de kameropera die Neil Hannon en Frank Alva Buecheler samen schreven. (JE)
