Gray Moth is used to hiding in the heather thickets and only appearing from her hiding place when darkness falls. She dreams of seeing the trees but never leaves her meadow. Gray Moth is convinced that she is the only moth in the world. However, one evening it turns out that this is not the case. In the Heart of the forest, there is a house of all moths, and all moths are enchantresses. They know magic that Gray Moth never even dreamed of. The moths have spells to not be afraid of the Sun! To get them, one must set out on a journey immediately. But will Gray Moth dare to leave her hiding place for the first time in her life?
