Step Into My Shoes
Gedrukt boek
ENGELS – The story follows Matou, a young girl who, on her way home from school, becomes curious about the various shoes left outside a mosque. She imagines the lives of their owners, pondering questions like why a neatly dressed boy's sneakers appear unworn or why a classmate's ballet flats are so worn out. This imaginative exploration leads Matou to a deeper understanding of empathy. When her mother has to work late, Matou feels frustrated and let down. By metaphorically stepping into her mother's shoes, she gains a new perspective on her mother's experiences, fostering a bridge of understanding between them.
